Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American stage and screen actress and producer. She is most famous as a film actress for her role as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in film, theater, and television. Her acting career began in the theatre. She then appeared in several television shows, independent films and mainstream film. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she appeared in her first performance in The Tempest as Ariel. She has performed on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is most well-known for her role in movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. She is also well-known for her part in ABC's crime-drama High Incident.
