Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country music and songwriting, gained fame on television after she was cast as Alex in the third and final seasons on One Tree Hill. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country music artist. This helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. The last decade saw she was a guest in Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as several TV programs. There were also a few singles that did not appear on albums. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to music from the country genre later on, she decided to explore a career in recording. However, she first made an acting debut when she was young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. Through the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer was then on TV as Portia ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Kramer joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she was on until the finale in 2012, about halfway through. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern love song from the country genre, I Won't Let Go. It was later featured on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The song reached into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer released her second album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. Alongside The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as an duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number three on country's albums chart as well as number ten on the Billboard 200. The month of September 2016 saw her stint on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th place final. The same year,"Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser was hugely popular among adults.
