Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 in 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die manufacturer, who worked as a worker for a manufacturing company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was considered to be academically gifted when she started in the second grade at age five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in the year 1975. She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she also participated in her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone relocated from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to pursue a career as an actress. Within a month, Stone signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency. Stone soon moved to Europe for a time, and lived with her aunt in Milan in Italy and Paris. Stone became dissatisfied with the fashion business in Europe but decided to focus on acting instead. At 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
