Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician and a founding member of Motley Crue's heavy metal band, is an American-Greek American musician. In addition to being the band's long-term drummer, Lee created the rap-metal band Methods of Mayhem and has had solo musical projects. Lee is a PETA fan and an avid advocate for animal rights. In 2010, Lee sent a letter to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld, protesting the treatment of Tilikum the orca. Lee believes that the animal should be released, and he stated that SeaWorld wouldn't comply as Tilikum is their main donor of sperm. Lee expressed his displeasure over SeaWorld's inept and bizarre methods of obtaining Tilikum fertilm. Lee claimed that he'd not want to see trainers being killed, as these tragedies were due to the whales' aversion to the confinement.
